Ariel is a manpower consultant for a various projects in Oil & Gas sector in Malaysia. He has consulted a few international contractors for BASF-PETRONAS Lemongrass Project in Gebeng, Kuantan, Pahang and PETRONAS Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) in Pengerang, Johor.

Ariel has competed in junior category of motorsports in Malaysia. He started racing at the age of 10 and joined both club and national karting championship from 2001 until 2005.

In 2006, he was selected among 10 young talented drivers to enrol in the inaugural PETRONAS Formula Xperience (PFX) and competing in Formula BMW.
